The short version: Granthara has no account system, no advertising and no analytics. It does not know who you are, and it has no database in which it could keep you.
What Granthara collects
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, no email capture and no contact form. No personal information is requested, transmitted or stored by this site.
What your browser stores
Granthara saves a few things in your own browser, using local storage. These never leave your device, and Granthara cannot read them:
- the lesson you last had open, and how far down it you had read
- which lessons you have finished
- whether you chose the paper or the ink theme
- your answer to each lesson’s closing question
These are conveniences, not records. Clearing your browser data deletes all of them, and the site works normally without them. Granthara sets no cookies, which is why you have never been asked to consent to any.
Third parties
Granthara loads its typefaces from Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Requesting a font
from Google reveals your IP address and browser to Google, the same way visiting any page
on their network would. That is the only third party this site contacts, and it is covered
by Google’s
privacy policy.
There are no advertising networks, no social widgets, no embedded video, no tracking pixels and no analytics scripts of any kind.
Ask Granthara
The Ask Granthara panel is not a chatbot in the usual sense. It runs entirely in your browser, against a fixed set of answers written in advance and shipped with the page. Your questions are not transmitted anywhere, not logged, and not used to train anything.
Server logs
Granthara is a set of static files served by its host. Like any web host, that host may keep ordinary access logs — IP address, time, page requested — for security and reliability. Granthara does not read those to profile readers and does not combine them with anything else.
Children
Granthara is written for adults learning about markets. It collects no information from anyone, of any age.
If this changes
If Granthara ever adds analytics or accounts, this page will say so before it happens, and the date at the top will change. Anything privacy-invasive would be a decision worth announcing, not burying.
